Otitis Media (Earache)
Middle ear infections are known as otitis media. It results in oedema, redness, and an accumulation of fluid behind the eardrum. Although middle ear infections can affect anybody, young children are particularly likely to have them.

The infection known as shingles results in a painful rash. The rash from shingles typically appears on the stomach and chest, but it can appear anywhere on the body.
